Before launching Creizman LLC, he spent his entire career at three elite, international law firms: Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Heller Ehrman LLP, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
Over his career, Mr. Creizman has represented clients in high-stakes criminal, regulatory, and civil matters, concentrating his practice substantially in the areas of white collar and federal criminal defense. He has defended clients in investigations and prosecutions brought under virtually every federal statute in the criminal code. Mr. Creizman also has substantial experience in representing clients in regulatory investigations and actions brought by federal regulators such as the SEC, FINRA, PCAOB, Bureau of Industry & Security of the Department of Commerce, OFAC, and state regulatory and enforcement agencies including the New York Attorney General and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Mr. Creizman is a seasoned civil litigator as well, having represented major financial institutions in groundbreaking securities class action litigation relating to public offerings of mortgage-backed securities, as well as other corporate and individual clients in civil RICO, commercial, employment, and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Creizman also has handled high-profile matters involving local politics, representing the former chairman of the Suffolk County Campaign Finance Board in a contract dispute. Since 2007, Mr. Creizman has served on the prestigious Criminal Justice Act Panel in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, through which he is assigned to represent defendants and witnesses in federal criminal investigations and prosecutions.
